Davis is a minor character in Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus.

Specialist Davis appears in To the Summit Pt. 1 right at the very beginning. His is holding a stock MN106. Unlike Sarin, Davis does not have a chance of being killed by enemy fire. However, it is later revealed that all other members of Mustang Squad besides Newman and Downs were either captured or killed.

Sergeant Davis mistake

Later on in the mission, Newman reaches Davis and Thomas, and calls in an airstrike on nearby tanks. However, Davis's rank is now a Sergeant instead of Specialist. This becomes confusing when Sergeant Davis speaks and the in-game speech popup lists him as Specialist Davis. This issue could have multiple causes and it is unclear what actually happened, though it is unlikely that two Davis characters existed, as evidenced by the fact that Specialist Davis cannot die at the beginning of the mission while Sarin can.
